We loved our time at the Red Flower Cottages which is on An Bang beach in Hoi An. It’s only been open since April and four of the eight rooms were booked whilst we were there. We stayed in the Cherry room which had huge ceilings, a massive bed and fridge freezer mini bar!
They are still waiting on government approval for their sign (not sure why) so its tricky to find. Especially as the Google Maps location is wrong by about 30m (which matters a lot in this part of town).
The place is very well designed with large, stylish rooms. Breakfast was a choice of western dishes or local noodle soups with fruit shakes and coffee. The local Cao lau is amazing.
All of the staff were amazing, especially Kim, our English speaking host and the dog Bi. Kim helped book our train tickets to Nha Trang and was an absolute pleasure throughout our stay. As our train didn’t leave until 11pm she let us keep our room during the day so we could shower when we got back from the beach with no extra charge.
It really has felt like home stay here and we were very sad to leave.
When you couple this with how lovely An Bang beach is, I think this has been our favourite place in Vietnam so far. If ever you visit Hoi An, be sure to stay at the Red Flower Cottages.
